26th November 2022 saw Feilding Brass and Palmerston North Brass in a Combined Concert to end the year on a high note.

The concert started with Palmerston North Brass Academy lead by Mat Johnston, who played 4 pieces for the audience.

Once the stage had been reset, Feilding Brass came out, lead by MD Carissa Davies and did a 40 min bracket. Soloist were Andrew on Flugel Horn and Nigel on Eb Bass.

After half time tea and cake supplied by Palmerston North Brass, their band came out on stage and performed their segment under MD Keenan Buchannan.

Soloists were Carmel and Allan, both on Trombone.

Then Feilding Brass and Palmerston North Brass came together and performed 2 combined pieces chosen by each MD.

A wonderful night had by everyone and we hope happens again in the future.

Coming up, Feilding Brass is in Christmas Parade mode playing in Ashhurst, Dannevirke, Levin, and of course Feilding parade.
